Others Struggle Too

You never know what someone is going through.  Be nice.  It seems simple doesn't it?

It's not. I have probably yelled all the expletives in my car this week as I drive to work.  It's the most painful part of my day right now with my pinched nerve.  Sitting in the car for those 8 excruciating minutes makes everyone a target for my anger and resentment and frustration.  "&$#*&@ MOOOOOVE" I yell if someone doesn't hit the gas the minute the light turns green.

Maybe they're in pain too?  Physically, emotionally, spiritually.  I have read widows' accounts of breaking down in stores just trying to go about their daily lives and errands.  I remember that too.  The time I stood between aisles in a Target and lost it completely.  The numerous times driving home from friends' houses to my lonely home without my husband.  The breakdowns.

So I'm in pain. Physically today.  Emotionally other days.  Spiritually many days.  So are others.  We all have our battles.  When I get snippy with people and turn my anger at my situation towards them it just adds to their struggle.  It's another notch and another letdown.

What am I going to do to change that?
